Old Colony's idea behind only having 7 door styles and 5 drawer front styles is to keep it simple.  Yes we could offer 500 different door styles. Essentially we do offer that many and more because we can make any door style you can imagine.  However, most people find it hard to choose from 500 door styles.  What if we had 500 colors to choose from too?  You would soon become very exhausted trying to look at them all!  Here are seven very typical door styles and five very typical drawer front styles.  If you want to modify them or scratch them completely and make your own door style - fine.  We can do that.

Some examples of the more common modifications would be to put a bead-board panel in a flat panel door, add a middle stile to the shaker panel to turn it into a mission style, or bevel the outside edge of the shaker panel. If a glaze is added to the finish, we will add a glazing notch to the outside edge and the raised panel to give the door more detail to catch the glaze.

Place your mouse over the door style to display the name of the style.
